Donna Dundon

Major Dundon (ret.) served in the United States Army Nurse Corp for 8 years before retiring from the military and entering the private sector. Ms. Dundon earned her undergraduate Bachelor of Science Nursing degree at the State University of New York Institute of Technology in 1991. She later obtained her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Phoenix in 2002. Ms. Dundon has over 20 years of experience as a nurse practitioner specializing in neurological care.

Prior to joining the Four Peaks family in 2012, Ms. Dundon was employed in a hospital based neurologic practice for 10 years. During her voluminous experiences working in different hospitals, Ms. Dundon provided comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU, provided nursing care to acute rehabilitation patients, and imparted her knowledge to others through mentorship. Ms. Dundon has experience managing high patient volume, as well as treating patients afflicted with neurologic, pain, and psychiatric disorders.

Ms. Dundon believes in practicing medicine by applying a comprehensive approach based on evidence-based guidelines and personal clinical experience. Her focus is optimizing neurologic treatments and helping patients overcome neurological challenges that would affect their plans of care. Ms. Dundon is an exceptional problem solver, skilled at creating treatment regiments, and monitoring treatment efficacy.

Ms. Dundon is an active participant in several nursing and neurological medical organizations, such as Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, as well as the American Academy of Neurology. Ms. Dundon is credentialed by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In her downtime, Ms. Dundon enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, and yoga.
